Overview

PVC strip curtains are a practical and economical solution for separating work zones, controlling temperature, reducing airborne dust and insects, and dampening noise — without the cost or inconvenience of a solid door. The curtain consists of overlapping flexible PVC strips suspended from a header rail, allowing people, forklifts, and goods to pass through with minimal resistance. Strips can be clear (for visibility) or ribbed/tinted for UV blocking or anti-glare. Different PVC formulations are available for ambient temperature, cold storage, and high-traffic applications. They are widely used in warehouses, food processing facilities, loading docks, cold rooms, and manufacturing areas.

Things to confirm before ordering

• Opening dimensions — width and height of the doorway; this determines the number of strips and header rail length required.
• Temperature rating — standard PVC for ambient use, low-temperature (cold room) PVC for chilled or frozen environments.
• Strip width and overlap — wider strips with more overlap provide better insulation; narrower strips allow easier passage. Standard widths are 100mm, 200mm, and 300mm.
• Clarity or tinted — clear for visibility; ribbed or tinted for UV blocking or anti-glare.
• Traffic type — pedestrian or forklift/vehicle traffic affects the required strip thickness.
