Overview
Plastic profiles are extruded sections of rigid thermoplastic — most commonly PVC, PP, HDPE, or ABS — produced in continuous lengths with specific cross-sectional shapes. Standard profiles include angle (L-section), channel (U-section), T-section, square tube, rectangular tube, flat bar, and round bar. Custom profiles are also produced by extrusion for specific applications. Plastic profiles are used in industrial fitout, machine guarding, conveyor systems, material handling equipment, edge trim, panel framing, and structural applications where a corrosion-resistant, non-conducting, light-weight alternative to aluminium extrusions is appropriate.

Things to confirm before ordering
- Profile shape — specify the cross-section required (angle, channel, T-section, tube, flat bar, or other); provide a sketch or drawing for custom profiles.
- Material — PVC for general indoor use, PP for chemical resistance, HDPE for impact and UV resistance, ABS for surface quality and bonding.
- Dimensions — confirm the key dimensions of the profile cross-section (leg lengths, wall thickness, tube OD/ID) and required length.
- Colour — PVC profiles are commonly grey, white, or black; confirm colour requirement.
